We went here for dinner one night after Christmas. Lovely atmosphere, the booths had nice wooden accents and it reminded me of being inside of a train car. I ordered the mussels special for $15. It was a large portion for the price and I ended up taking half of it home with me. Their fresh bread was amazing. We also got the Mrs. Peter's fish paste, it was good but I think I like the New England fish paste down there better. I also for a bourbon blackberry lemonade that was pretty strong on the bourbon, not that I minded. If we're back in the Palm City area again visiting family I'll be returning here.

The Best Grouper fingers we have had in Florida! They had a great crunch, the butter for the sweet potato I ordered was so sweet and yummy! Very fresh herb bread! Great Caesar salad and the service was very friendly! We will definitely be back!!

I worked at this place a while back, for about a year. The food was very good. But I would be careful eating there because of everything else especially sanitation. The kitchen was a mess all the time, roaches everywhere! I couldnt believe my eyes how they used to hang out at night when we were closing down the restaurant. They wouldnt scatter, almost like they owned the place. The worst was behind the bar. The most disgusting bar I have ever worked behind in my life, and I have worked at some nasty bars. only problem is that this one serves food! The coolers were never cleaned so the pint glasses would rest on stagnant dirty water, because the coolers were never cold enough. The bartenders at night were so lazy that they wouldnt take the dirty dishes to the kitchen because the dishwasher was already cut and the barback was gone. I almost threw up the first time I grabbed the Bus tub in the morning and saw all the roaches running out! And I will never forget every other week when they had the exterminator there. It had gotten so bad that they had hired the pest control for about 3 months by the time I had quit. The pest control would spray under the bar and under all the benches and nook and crannies. Then you would see 1,000s of roaches crawling from every direction, covered in this white powder (poison) dying. Then we would close up and who ever opened the restaurant had to sweep up the roaches, never mopping up the pesticide. One time I opened after the pest control had been there, I believe that was the day I quit. I fillled up two dust pans of roaches........GROSS!!!!

Went here with some friends the other night. I ordered the Lemon Basil Mussels over Linguine. While it was a tasty dish, I couldn't detect any lemon or basil flavors at all! The dish wasn't bad, but it just wasn't what I was expecting. It tasted more like a basic butter and garlic sauce. I was disappointed about the lack of lemon and basil flavors, but not disappointed in the actual taste of the dish. My friends all seemed to enjoy their food (they all got fish). I'm definitely willing to go back and try some other options.

Great food and atmosphere. Always fun and a good dining experience. Soft shell crabs are great, as well as the New England clam chowder!!!!

Waited an hour and 15 minutes for food and the shrimp linguini was terrible and watery! Probably won't go back and I live right around the corner. So sad. Server Jordan was awesome and was the only part of the experience that made it tolerable. They might have a quality product but I did not experience it.

Great place, wonderful food. Great service but I always try to sit in Donna's section for that extra level of service where she knows your name and exactly how you like your meal. The Grouper is always a winner, either the grouper fingers or crunchy grouper sandwich, but the shrimp pasta, French onion soup, and steak Caesar salad are great when I feel like something else. I take everyone here, and all the other local restaurants owned by the same people.

We ate here my last night in Palm City. It's hard to explain it's not a family restaurant, or a diner, but the sort of place you ate with your grandparents. You can easily go in jeans, but it's a nice solid restaurant. The teens shared lasagna that was huge, literally we all could have had it. A few of us had the new england clam chowder. Yes clam chowder in florida, but it was damn good. Dotted with excellent clams and potatoes. I had the haddock and it was stellar, I love anything with capers honestly. My cousin's husband had fish as well. It's a great place to have fish or seafood. There were 4 or 5 different kinds of fish that night and I didn't even know two or three of them! The sides were diner-esque. The desserts were nothing remarkable, but the entrees were definitely solid. I'm not sure if I would be back unless nothing else was open.

Good food and OK service. I had filet, done to perfection and my fried had the horseradish encrusted grouper, which looked wonderful. A bit noisy but nice atmospher. Gave it 3 stars because the service seemed to be on there terms, if you weren't ready to order when the server was it was hard to get him back. But still a very good meal

Food was fine, service is always nice (I was here with an older relative and they neither patronized you nor made you feel like you were bothering them). Some of them have been there for quite a while. Their beer selection is OK, and they make some interesting combinations. Decent sized bar, and the restaurant always seems bigger than I remember.

This place is really a local favorite. My in Laws come here two times a week and so does most everyone. This place is always packed and buzzing. Booth seating with a friendly staff and so much fresh fish on the menu. Portions are on the big side for me but everyone seems to appreciate it. Chandon on the menu is always a win. I do keep coming back so yeah, I guess. It's a favorite.

Service was a bit slow, but food was very good. It's a great neighborhood place to go when you want basic American cuisine. Prices were a bit high for being such a basic diner-type place, but serving sizes are large.

In all the years we have been spending the colder months in Palm City, we have visited Palm City Grill dozens of times. With all honestly, we have never had a disappointing experience at PCG. Lastnight we had a new server named Amanda. Excellent service. All four meals especially the sea basa was delicious. Moving to the bar after dinner to converse with the best bartender's in the area, made for a wonderful Saturday night out. Great food, Great service, Great friends.

Our local Cheers! Great service, friendly barstaff, love Jason Go Gators and Sabrina, the two Renees and Joyce. Food is good, not fancy or overpriced. Excellent beer choices. During season, have to wait for the blue hair crowd to leave so don 't plan on dinner til after 8. Nice atmosphere - snag a table on the bar side if available. 4 stars- because not a lot of dinner choices in Palm City.

Had the "Best of Both Worlds" (surf n turf) which came with 6oz sirloin and 3 stuffed shrimp covered in a lobster sauce. Entree comes with choice of soup or salad and side choices (rice, fries potato, veg). Had the salad with house vinaigrette. Ordered the rice / got fries. Overall, pretty standard fare with nothing too good or bad to comment about. Decent atmosphere and friendly staff. Somewhat on the pricier side of reasonable.

One of our local favorites. Always good, especially when you want a wide choice of entrees. It is consistent and friendly and the crunchy shrimp is hard to beat.

We had a lovely dinner for two here. We did make the early bird special, but we were pleasantly surprised. We had the shrimp and meat loaf plates. Both were delicious, hot, and flavorful. The accompanying veggies were excellent. All we cooked as we asked. The waitress was wonderful, pleasant, prompt and cheerful. I will be back very soon.

Killer clam chowder, first and foremost. Usually an older crowd here but the food is good and pretty quick. I've liked everything I've eaten there with the exception of the mussels in red sauce, the white wine sauce is the way to go!

Palm city grill is one of my favorites! Whenever I come back into town, I stop in just for the coconut shrimp. This stuff is amazing! Staff is always friendly and prompt. Highly recommend!

Tale of two restaurants: when not too busy, Palm City Grill is a delight. Friendly staff and good food served promptly at fair prices. When they're busy, however, it's another story. The kitchen backs up quickly and things go downhill fast. So, go early or late, go off season, or be prepared to be very patient.

Have eaten here on a number of occasions and will continue to go back. The food here is fantastic. The warm bread is delicious, and the food is fresh and prepared properly. I've had chicken, steaks, burgers, etc. and have never been disappointed. The atmosphere is fun and nautical based, which is perfect for the area, and the staff is kind. The restaurant is always clean and a must if you are in the Palm City area.

Back at the PC grill on a busy Friday night. Lively - Fun - great service - Staff was engaging and on their A plus game . Well worth the night out. And of course this time the food was great as our party six enjoyed a wide variety of entrees from fish to burgers. A great local restaurant and bar for all :-) Ronn just Ronn The hole in the wall food guy!!!

Honestly, I do not understand why this place gets such good reviews. I originally went because a neighbor raved about this place. I went on a Friday night. It was very crowded and there was quite a wait. Once we were seated, it seemed to take a long time before the server took our drink order. I ordered a chicken salad. It was a very bland. It was not worth the wait. So, to summarize my review: service was poor and food was bland. I probably should give them one star, but I guess I just too nice.

This is the 3rd time i've sat on hold for 10+ minutes waiting for someone to answer my takeout order, before giving up. I've ordered many times so I know how this works. Hostess answers the phone, I ask for takeout, get transferred to bar and hope a bartender picks up. 99% of the time the hostesses are standing around not doing anything when I get there, while the bartenders are swamped. I do not understand why the hostesses cannot take the order. It's too bad, I enjoy the food and was waiting for the season to die down. If they don't want my $50+ take out order(easy $$ for a restaurant) fine by me.

We've eaten here as a family, and with others, a few times over the past couple of years. The food is fresh, the waitstaff cares, and they do a nice job. I wouldn't go here on a special occasion, but it's a perfect place to go with the family for some fresh seafood and cocktails. The blue hair crowd arrives in force at 5:30, but the place is cleared out by 7. Even though the crowd is often older, it's a great spot for kids - they hooked us up with coloring stuff on arrival.

The food was great, cleanliness and service was bad. My drink had flecks of black stuff floating and when I looked closer so did all the ice. We waited at the hostess stand to be seated about ten minutes before being acknowledged let alone seated (it wasn't busy). Our table was set but not bussed well, crumbs on the seats and a sticky mess on the tabletop. My drink sat empty for most of the meal. My Caesar salad with grilled chicken was good, along with our appetizers but I wouldn't come back based on the other problems.
